Go up north and you have this snowy ass place that is a fucking sucker punch because you didn't know there was going to be the first snow route ever.
an island where you go through desert and there's an actual volcano to explore and not just the outside.
there's fucking marshland in the south, mountains in the middle of the region and there's also a god tier forest.
I do agree that Sinnoh is slow as fuck with battle speed and saving and surfing and pisses me off.
But Johto and Kanto are empty as fuck. You have Cerulean cave okay cool and Safari zones. You also have the "ROUTE" in between Celadon and Saffron. and the "ROUTE" in between Saffron and Vermillion. Empty as shit.
Unova is a linear paradise but I will admit that I like a lot of the winter and autumn shit they got going on.
