From what I remember they did that incredibly quickly with BW. But then again, RNG abusing in BW is laughably easy. They'd probably make this one ridiculously byzantine as fuck just to screw people for "cheating"

Ok, thats a better argument, and I have no answer. They are giving A LOT of popularity to blaziken right now, but to be honest, we already had a lot of fire types revealed for gen 6. Fennekin was going to be ignored regardless.

But yeah, its fucked up how that blaziken is spreading his fire/fight dominance again in this gen.

Considering everyone gets the game the same day and the full Pokedex won't be posted for at least 2 days, most people will find the time to evolve their starter at least once before then. Hell, I usually evolve mine before the first gym in the first hour of gameplay.
