Do Megaevolutions mean the end of regular evolutions?

Since we have megaevolutions now, does that mean we'll never see evolutions or pre-evolutions of older pokemon ever again?

Proper evolutions, doubtful. Maybe some branch evolutions (still want Vigoroth to have an alternate evo).
