Back during the 2012 zomg pls save vp moot crisis it was suggested which would have given digimon, monster hunter and rancher and yugioh a home but it was drowned out. Also digimon goes on/m/ because of xros wars.

Nah, no resemblances at all.

On one note, this could be a good idea to liven up the board. AFAIK /vp/ is expected to die after X/Y are released and hype ends. If there were two topics, it'd have better chances remaining active.

Someone should make a topic on /q/ for this to happen. It's time digimon gets a real home to call itsinstead of boards that begrudgedly allow digimon discussion but would rather not have it at all.

Only in the shitty sub. In the Japanese version Tamers it just another universe where Digimon is a popular card and video game series. Ryo from Tamers is actually from the Adventure universe and there's a few Japanese only video games that show how he dimensioned hopped.

Holy fuck thanks for telling me this. I haven't ever seen Tamers since my country stopped Digimon after 02. I've only read a few Tamers comic-mags but not enough to get confused. This info will be helpful when I get into watching the series.

I like the idea but I rather it be it's own board. Ever since I was a toddler I like monsters of all kinds. Dinosaurs, mythical creatures, made up designs, cute, beautiful, badass, you name it. I wish there was something for along with monster franchises like digimon.

There tends to be a common theme, Agumon becomes either saurian and/or fire related, Betamon would get seamonster like ones etc.
There some exception, the poop/slime/etc. Digimon (like Sukamon and Numamon) come from poor care and as such anything can become one.

THe first is just my butthurt opinion. You should really check out Savers though. It is a solid anime.
