Pokemon X and Y

No.13407205 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey, I have some information about X and Y that you guys might be interested in knowing. Localization is wrapping up for the release of the games and it has been very hectic here lately, so the usually firm stance of information leaving the office has not been as strong as usual. Anyways, I know a good chunk of what happens in X and Y so here's some info and feel free to ask me any questions. Almost all of my information has been written and not visual except for a couple mega evolutions that I assume will be shown at Gamescon.
> The Pokemon that get Mega Evolutions are Charizard, Blastoise, Venasaur, Gengar, Pinsir, Jynx, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Scizor, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Heracross, Celebi, Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, Gardevoir, Medicham, Banette, Aggron, Latias, Latios, Empoleon, Luxray, Roserade, Drifblim, Dusknoir, Darmanitan, Zoroark, and Ferrothorn for a total of 30.
> The way to mega evolve a pokemon is to have it holding its specific mega stone and for it to have reached level 75
> The tower of mastery is a tower with about 10 floors and each floor has a trainer that has one pokemon that is able to mega evolve.
> Professor Sycamore gives you a Kanto starter after defeating Viola at level 10
> Once you complete the tower of mastery, Korrina and her grandfather are at the top and they will give you charizardite, blastoiseium, or venasaurite depending on which kanto starter you chose
> Team flare has a much deeper plot than just making money. They are trying to make as much money as possible to fund their boss's research of DNA and making the perfect pokemon. It is brought up many times that their motives are similar to another organization many years ago...
> Team flare's hideout is in a desert and it is surrounded by lava
> Mewtwo in the cave toward the top left of the Kalos map.
