Game Freak really fucked up here. The Pokegear is cool with the phone and everything, but don't fucking remove the VS Seeker you dumbshits.

I know that feel, bro. I'm doing a monotype challenge on HeartGold with Bug Pokemon, but I don't think I can take on the first round of the Elite 4 without my team being at least level 50.

I fear the Houndoom and Charizard most of all.

I know that feel. I've been replaying SS and I must have downed ￥50,000 worth of potions/revives while fighting the Elite Four because my whole team was in the lower 40s.

Butterfree (43), Venomoth (43), Heracross (46), and Forretress (42). I figured that using four Pokemon would be enough to reduce grinding, plus I didn't want to spend hours finding a Yanma or raising a Shuckle.

I'm actually doing a bit of EV training right now to compensate for the lower levels, but I still won't head into the E4 until I get my team's levels up.

Heracross is pretty bro tier, but I still fear the faster Pokemon outrunning and outkilling him.

He's currently running Close Combat / Brick Break / Aerial Ace / Rock Tomb, which should be a good enough moveset to clear out the E4 the first time. Though Rock Tomb's shaky accuracy worries me, too.

I just used my Gyrados for the entire E4. I bought sooo many stat boosting drugs. My plan was to pump him full of defense boosters, heal after each one until his defense was too high to damage, then just spam dragon dance and sweep the team. He was like 20 levels under lol
