I played Colosseum recently, not when I was younger, and... it wasn't very good. Didn't even finish it. I liked that you have to use a limited variety of pokemon, but that was about it. The character models were hideous, the MC clearly made to appeal to teens (not objectively bad but man was I rolling my eyes), and most of the early content as far as I could remember was fetch quests that you were given no reason to even give a shit about. The towns were also small and lame, and everyone dressed like they couldn't decide between cowboy or mechanic. I didn't even Like Mirror B, I don't see what the fuss for him is about. It just felt really poorly written and really poorly put together as far as RPGs go. Even the whole shadow pokemon thing wasn't explored to it's full potential, IMO. It was so casual about the whole thing, they TOLD you shadow pokemon were bad, but never SHOWED you it was bad.
