i want the black 3ds xl. However, due to reasons, if I bought the 3ds now, I wont be able to get x and y on release.

I have a 3ds now, but it is loaned to me and i want to return it asap. wat do?

the best i can do is 40 by release.

Will my save be locked to the loaned 3ds, or can i transfer to the xl?

If you get the cart, it is on the cart. If you download it, it is locked to the 3ds.
