Xyz's only started to ruin the game when Konami tried to use them to replace Syncs, instead of them just being support for Syncs. I have since quit YGO since it became too much hastle for me, but the game as of right now is a bit fucked because of OP cards, but the banlist in Sept is gonna fix things, and its gonna be a pretty great game. Its not "better" than pokemon, but an awful lot of people find it more fun.
