Since gen 6 is adding pretty much everything we ever wanted, what do you think will feature in gen 7?

Also how many games do you think will come out for gen 6? I think X and Y, X and Y 2 and a Hoenn remake/Sequel.

My favorite Pokemon game was Sapphire, huge step up from the previous two generations in my opinion, and the remake of the previous gens so far have been pretty excellent

It's way too early to even conceive of anything that could come from Gen 7. All that can be said is that it will probably also be for the 3DS, and it will probably have to feature even more than Gen 6 did, since it would be dumb for Game Freak to decrease the excitement of their games after all of the hype for XY.

I want a return to or Hoenn or Kanto/Johto, set 10 years later or so. Hoenn's map size would be boosted with the addition of islands slightly off the edges of the original map. Also boost the map with a ton of dungeons and other hidden areas to emphasize Gen 3's exploration. I know people are tired of Kanto, but have it so that Kanto/Johnto have merged their league, so instead of progressing through Johnto and then Kanto, you'd have the option to travel through both before the E4. There would still be 16 gyms, but you only need to go through 8, however, you can go through your own choice of Kanto and Johto gyms. Basically, be as non-linear as possible. Start at New Bark Town, but then when you get to Goldenrod, you can take the train to Safron and choose to go to Cerulean or Celadon for your next badge.

Another thing I'd like is scaling levels depending on your party. Go to a route with Lv 5-10 Poekmon, and all the wild Pokemon are LV 2-7. Go back with your party between Lv. 30-50, and the wild Pokemon are Lv. 20-35.

We've all wanted to be a Gym Leader ever since RBY, right?

After you beat the Elite Four, you're told that one of the leaders is retiring, and that there's a tournament to determine a replacement. Win it, and you get given a gym to make your own. You'd customize with walls, decorations and puzzle objects like teleporters, arrow pads and dustbins with hidden switches, and recruit NPC trainers to populate it.

When you start out, you don't have many customization items, and the only people interested in training under you are Youngsters and Bug Catchers. To earn more or to expand your leadership in other ways, you upload your gym design online, and download or Streetpass other people's custom gyms to challenge.

I mean an ocean based pokemon game with explorable islands and deep ocean trenches, with different islands each with a different main element that they would take after (Volcanic island, fire gym, forest island grass or bug gym, ect.)

I agree with you on developing Hoenn more in a sequel. I wouldn't want the same exact game I played 10 years ago with updated graphics and a slight plot change. Develop the region up to Gen 6 standards, maybe make it so that Team Magma created new land afterwards, and Team Aqua discovered a new sea, or some shit like that. Make it a bigger more developed region with much more postgame than the last time.

This seems cool. Although I doubt they would have a Gym Leader retire. It would sort of mess with the game canon that they like. I could see an additional Gym be created for you to become a Gym Leader, though.

Real time battling. If any game calls for it, this is it. Dungeon crawlers are awesome and this game can make a good use of real time battles.

I want characters with some character. Some bits of BW(2) were a step in the right direction, but everyone was still one-dimensional and lacking any kind of development. Kids really aren't as dumb as GF seems to think they are.

Using cutouts or portraits for conversations would probably help, too.

Actually I haven't even touched Gates to Infinity - I can't currently afford a 3DS.

But hey, I've seen it work in Monster Hunter. And it does it great.

Or, hey, a home console PMD with multiplayer and wifi capabilities (you can aid the player as the second Pokemon, or you can bring your own Pokemon to the dungeon). It would be fucking awesome.

This. I want this so fucking badly. But, if they do, I don't want them just picking one character to do everything, one should be busy fighting the evil team, while the other is off to become the pokemon master.

I would be fine with that but we've asked for it so many times and gotten nothing it's worthless to even think to ask for it.

Also I don't want something more "serious" because edgyness, but rather to actually have fun watching action scenes.

Best case scenario is it plays well and is amazing, but is limited to like 10 playable pokemon and 40 possible moves

And multiplayer in normal mystery dungeon would be terrible unless they figure out a way to make it real time without completely ruining core gameplay mechanics

And wanting a mystery dungeon game on the Wii U is like specifically asking for shit

That's based on what little I remember from the anime, it's been a few years since I've last watched it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that stuff, but, I'd like to see something that has more in common with the actual games, rather than just something that shares the same setting.

No more construction work, sleeping guards, power outages, crowds watching a Pokemon battle, bridge inspections, people telling me I need a new Badge before I'm tough enough to go down the steps that a preschooler is playing at the bottom of, or "there is something ahead"s. Let me explore the region and decide where I want to go myself, or at least give me circumventable obstacles that I can come back to later when I'm equipped to deal with them, not just "come back when you're supposed to be here".

When did I say I wanted no HMs? I don't remember saying that I wanted no HMs.

Also, half of those examples were from previous gens. Neither rocks nor roadblocks are actually necessary for the game.
