Is anyone else having trouble playing Pokemon lately because of X/Y looming over the horizon?

I just can't play for more than a few minutes without getting bored. Is it going to be impossible for you to go back to the old gens once Gen 6 hits?

Do you just do the "normal" playthrough? Because I can imagine that getting boring after a couple of runs. I suggest you do a randomized nuzlocke or sth like that.

I've done everything you could imagine.
ROM hacks, nuzlockes, randomlockes, mystery egg, theme teams, etc.

I just can't stick with any of it, regardless of the game.

The only gens I really go back to are 5, 4, rarely 3, and the occasional mod.

Kind of. I've been on an emotional roller coaster for a long while now and I still havent even beat B2 yet. And I got it day one. Feel prettu bad about it too because its the fist game were I nicknamed all my guys.

I literally feel like Gen V is the only one I can get into.
I got bored and tried starting a blue nuzlocke,
I got to the optional rival fight and just gave up.
IDK, I know this probably makes me sound like a casual or whatever,
But holy fuck I just can't stop thinking about playing a 3DS version of Pokemon (X/Y/Whatever)
I want full 3D graphics
the 3D feature/gimmick
I want streetpass, spotpass,
the ability to have my game in sleep mode and still get streetpasses.
FUCK I want X&Y to come out already...
