The story is pretty stupid too, even not counting the useless self inserts during the end game it's just bad.
Agastya's Emerald hack is pretty good but it doesn't have original dialogues, so you have something like Archie still going after Groundon, it just focuses on the Touhoumon mechanics and gives a good fair difficulty, he also did a nitpick blog in order to explain why Another World and World link are a bad hack:
