Even if you did have a bf/gf at 11, you didn't do anything even remotely close to a relationship. Unless you fucked, and that's usually seen as pretty fucked up.

The games have had childhood friends, adoring fans, and that one Juggler who really really loves to call the female player in Crystal.

Not OP, but I wouldn't mind a rival or reoccurring character being written to have a very clear crush on you, as long as it doesn't incorporate some elements from silly dating sims. You know, shake interactions between characters up a bit.

If there was ever a Persona/Pokemon crossover (unfortunately it would probably be a portmanteau like Personémon), you'd probably get the option, but until that awesome idea comes to fruition, you're probably not going to get anything more than trivial things like Curtis/Yancy.
