Hey people, what about a nicknames thread?
Do you have any favourite nicknames you usually give to a particular pokemon line?
Any nicknames you find particularly witty and you want to share?
Come on people, come in and share your pokepuns.
Here are some of mines:
Hen the Combsken/Blaziken - from the boxer Hen Pierce, the Game Chicken
Cessna for any female bird with Fly - from the famous personal light aircraft
Zidane the Rampardos - 2006 WC finals
Muong the female Slaking - from the omonymous orang utang in the Aubrey-Maturin Series
A'Tuin for the Torterra line - from the omonymous world-bearing turtle of the Discworld novels
Aubrey for the Squirtle line - from Testudo Aubreii, of the Aubrey-Maturin Series
Queendra the female Kingdra - pretty obvious this one
Rohypnol for the Hypno line - they do look like rapist pokemon dno't they?
G0-T0 for the Magnemite line - from the omonymous KOTOR 2 character
Pingu for the Empoleon line - from the omonymous cartoon penguin
What do you have /vp/? Come on, all wits accepted. Pic somewhat related.
