Maybe also because we got sequels during this gen, I consider this the best gen so far. Not my most played gen, but I certainly think this one is the best.

In my opinion, BW1 were some of the worst as far as content goes. Sure, it has a decent story and the Battle Subway, but they're sorely lacking in postgame. I put it down after about a month and have barely played it since.

BW2 fixed a lot of that. Except for the story and characters, which they barely bothered with.

well, I seriously just enjoyed all of the games. Each one had something to offer. My fav would hands down have to be hg/ss. The thing that gives b/w/b2/w2 the close runner up, was all of the new items and moves.

I hated it.
WAAAAY too storybased. team plasma constantly sidetracking the game with their MAGICAL CASTLES AND MAIDENS.

postgame was godawful. everything is like +20 levels ahead of you and you're just expected to deal with it and grind.

I really didn't care much for B/W. The story was good, but that's about it. B2/W2, on the other hand, are some of my favorites in the series. Not sure why... Just something about them.

the only problem with d/p was the battles were a little slow.

it was objectively better in everything aside from region pokemon design and graphics (AKA the two least important things) in the series.
