I basically discarded all interest in pokemon in the run up to Black and White, and stayed away from /vp/. I'm not even quite sure how I managed it.
This time it's being marketed so heavily that I can't avoid seeing the new information no matter where I go.

I plan on not visiting any Pokemon related site once October comes around. I use plenty of sites to use to keep me occupied, along with class and other things in real life. It's not a problem at all unless the only things you do are hang out in /vp/, Serebii, and Bulbapedia.
