G-Guys? You know Gym Leaders are like the forces of good in a city? Or in a region as a whole? Manga tend to be liberal with that title but in-game, they tend to be on the good side of the scale.

Plus with the recent development, Leaders are getting more characterization like Brycen being secretly an actor although coming off as a stoic, icy man, Pryce being a sculptor of ice and Drayden single-handedly protecting his city (although Team Plasma overcame him in sheer number).

Blue is Green in Japan...as in the Japanese versions, that is Green.
Green is Blue outside of Japan (especially because The US only got Red and Blue for the console games). At least in the Special comics.
Special has the girl as Blue and the male rival as Green. Since I associate blue with girls more than green, I find Blue is more fitting for her than Green.

Leaders are characters themselves, so their personality cannot equate to their morality like good or evil but mostly they're shown to be good people. Like Sabrina, once a cold psychic, now becoming more and more mellow as Trainers defeat her for her badge. She even went to Unova for an acting career. DAMN SAB!
