Why would that be important? It's not like you'd be able to change your moves during the battle animation.

Only question left is what priority is the mega transform. I mean if the mon using it is slow will a faster enemy mon get an attack off first before it can go mega? Or will mawile go mega first, get hit by the faster mon and then use the selected attack? A lot rides on this

I was hoping that the transformation would be automatic but this is even better since you get to choose when to use it without wasting a turn. Also:
