I'm not arguing against the version colours; red and blue aren't opposites, either.
The opposite of red, or rather complement (also note the E in place of the I of compliment; I see it misspelled more often than spelt correctly), is cyan. Which would be a terrible version title in the marketing realm, not unlike the more-fitting Orange version for Charizard.
