But rocks can really turn pokes like Gyarados and Yanmega into dead weight sometimes. Well, defensive Gyarados can work well thanks to SR, but the lack of recovery hurts a lot. Scyther is a poke that loves switching in an out, so it'd depend so much on the supports that it ends up not being viable.
I remember once, playing UU, someone killed my SR setter before I could deploy the hazard. Long story short, his Scyther gave me hell. It would not fare as well in OU but the thing is really good if yoou manage to avoid getting Stealth Rocked.
Yanmega would be a solid OU without rocks.
