Why did they take Brock out of the anime? He was the funniest person on the show. Can we have a Brock general for the best character?

Unfortunately it was really obvious that the writers had no fucking clue what to do with Brock anymore, especially in DP. All he did was spout info sometimes and get stabbed by croagunk. I like Brock but he had become extremely boring and relied heavily on episodic gags.
