>Overall, 100 brand new Pokemon are introduced; The remainder of the Pokedex is filled with older Pokemon
>Final typings for the starters are Grass/Poison, Fire/Fighting and Water
>Steel, Fighting, Psychic and Dark deal super effective damage against the Fairy type
>Fairy deals super effective damage against the Dragon, Poison and Ghost types
>The main Rival actually poses a real challenge
>The Elite Four are stupidly easy, but the post game is longer than the GSC/HGSS post game
