I'm not the biggest /tr/ainer out there but I do enjoy all the games. I've been big into pokemon since blue but that's it. I've only really cared about the games.
I brought up a joke point with my cousin one time.
Saying: Pokemon can A. Understand Humans, B. Pronounce their own names and C. Clearly have more intelligence then normal animals. Why can't they speak human?
I brought up Meowth from TR but then I really thought about it. Is there an episode or a manga that explains why they can't or does it just take a lot of effort? Wouldn't pokemon speaking the same language make it a lot easier for humans to bond and understand them? Why haven't scientist marvelled over ones like Meowth and Slowking?
