My 16-year-old brother's been into it as long as I have. I'm definitely the bigger fan, though, he only really cares about beating the main storyline and catching whatever Pokemon he thinks are cool (usually the legendaries). He always gets one game, I get the other, and then we trade with each other and have a bit of a race (he almost always beats me, I grind too much). Thank goodness for wifi or we wouldn't still be able to do this.

His favorite Pokemon is Charizard and he trades his legendary Pokemon from his old games into his new ones as soon as possible so he can rape shit.

Last I talked to him about Pokemon, he was pretty excited for X and Y and his favorite new starter was Chespin (he's preferred grass the past few gens, so I'm not too surprised). He's been without internet access since May because he's been in a special facility helping him with his depression and anxiety, but he'll probably be back in time for us to plan who's getting what before I have to go away to university again.

My middle brother, around 15, kind of lost interest in it I guess. I've gotten him to play Shin Megami Tensei games at least, so his taste in vidya isn't totally corrupted by LoL and TF2. Granted he's a filthy Chaosfag, but still. His first game was Crystal, and his favorite Pokemon is Bulbasaur.

Smallest brother, around 10, loves it, but what 10 year old wouldn't like Pokemon? His first, and only game, was Black. Apparently his favorite Pokemon is Seviper.

And I'm 23, favorite is Absol, and have been playing since I was nine starting with Yellow.

I'm lucky to have a brother and a sister and we were really into pokemon growing up.

My brother and I were into it since gen 1, and my sister wasn't born until later. We then all played gen 3 with each of us choosing a different starter.

Now I'm 26, he's 30 and she's 23. Me and my sister still play pokemon, but my brother is living his life with his wife and children. Would be cool if he was still into it.

I like competitive battling so she doesnt like playing against me anymore. She likes to catch them all though.

She's always complaining that I always get the version with the "cooler" box legendary (I got White, she got Black, I got Diamond, she got Pearl, etc.) so she's dead set on getting Y and me getting X. I've got a younger sister of who plays Pokemon but she's so casual it hurts. Plays mostly for aesthetics than gameplay or story. Favorite pokemon are all the generic femanine ones. Roselia, Glameow (she hates Purugly), Skitty, Gardevoir, those sorts.
She's currently getting around to playing Soul Silver (because 5th gen pokemon look weird [except for Liepard]). When she finally picks up a groudon she's arranged to trade it for my shiny roselia. little does she know I have three of them. And she's not getting one of the modest ones.

Let's put it this way: I have 4 younger brothers. One is close in age to me, and he's been an on-and-off player of Pokemon.

He was just a massive shitlord who threatened to black mail and ruin my Parents. So they cut him off and have nothing to do with him; as well as dumped the entirety of his college education costs on him, despite him being newly married and otherwise would have helped him with it.

Every once in a while I check the newspapers where he lives, secretly hoping his wife loses her shit and murders him.

My sister and I never really played anything besides Mario Kart together on SNES. My sister was barely interested in Pokemon, but Dragonite was her favorite.
I remember being at a family reunion and my cousins one of 'em is two years older, and the other is like 5 years older then me. Fuckers got fed from the silver spoon and had all the Pokemon action figures and games.

She knew I loved Pokemon and always made it a thing to look fucking everywhere for a Pokemon cake for my birthdays or buy me extra batteries if we were going on a long car ride.
I always thought if she was a Pokemon she'd be a Chansey because she'd always take care off me if I ever needed anything, even if I was a little shit when I was younger. And now that I have a two year old niece ( who loves Pikachu )
I feel like I can return the kindness and babysit whenever she needs me to if she wants to go to the gym or anything. But I'm glad I have a sister who was always kind to me.

I'm really lucky actually, my sister is as much into pokemon as I am, minus using showdown and understanding every single mechanic. So far she has played every game from the 3rd generation up except HG/SS. We're going to play X and Y together ( me X because deer>bird, she thinks that too but since I pay for both of them I decide what version I pick).

My oldest sister loves pokemon, but she mainly sticks to Blue and Saphire, would've stuck with her Gold, but the battery died and it can't save. I deleted my Pearl so she could play a Gen 4 game several months ago, she played to the first gym and hasn't touched it since. Gen 5 she just uses a flash card, but as far as I know, she hasn't gotten far in that one either.

She's so casual, but I still love her

I don't have any siblings. My mom is infertile and I was adopted. My dad dad played pokemon, though. He's the one that got me into games in the first place. He died August 2009. I was recently going through some old stuff and found his old red cartridge and fat gameboy. They work perfectly.

My little sister plays harvest moon 24/7. She plays pokemon sometimes but is super casual and only uses her starter and the rest of her team consists of cute filler pokemon that are 50 levels lower then her starter. She still manages to beat the elite 4 though.
