>>13474854RS sales beg to differ. And that was before social media could spread information as rapidly as it does now, though there was still a massive uproar. Besides it kinda made sense why they had to do it the first time but if they do it a second time the outrage will be enormous.
Also it would be troublesome for remake sales too. A huge reason to buy FRLG and HGSS was to fill out the Pokedex, if GF doesn't let you transfer here again then people will just stop caring about the Pokedex since it getting wiped every couple Gens will become expected rather than a one off thing. And the Pokedex ceases to mean anything at all then there goes one of the biggest selling points of the remakes too.
Failing to let you transfer over here would be the the blunder of all time for this franchise.
