Just wondering if anybody can help me out here. Turns out my copy of Soul Silver has vanished off the face of the Earth and since X/Y is coming out real soon (got Y pre-ordered) I wanted to start assembling all 649 (well 636 not counting events) but I now do not have Soul Silver which was crucial in doing that. I do have an acekard 2i though and Soul Silver rom. Here's my question, I've never done trades in Pokemon since gen 2 but I was wondering if I whatever trade method is used in Soul Silver/Platinum/Black and White/Black 2 and White 2 will detect a flashcard as a legitimate game for trading purposes. I have a DS and a 3DS, I just want to know if the trade method can be done with a rom copy in gen IV and V, V is not as big a concern since I still have White and White 2 but I was just curious about it. It's more gen IV I need to work.
