Seconding this. Used Work up (+Atk & +S.Atk) and Baton Passed that to a Porygon 2 and proceeded to sweep my friend's team. It was great fun.

How do you combine a Fighting Pokemon with tankieness?
I mean there's no slow death damage over time build.

I've used Scyther with it before. The bulk of Eviolite along with roost allows it to set up swords dance and do well with aerial ace, X scissor/U-turn/bug-bite/quick attack for your other moveslots.
(Scyther is my favorite Pokemon)

Pretty much what Namazu posted, but max out it's Defense and HP and give it Regenerator and Bold nature.
Misdreavus is good as a Special Wall, though I wouldn't know what move set to give it.
