I am planning to make some pokemon more available in my simple gen 3 romhacks, like changing the old rod ratios to include one other pokemon aside from magikarp (usually is horsea or poliwag) also making them available earlier (old rod in Viridian City)

Most of them sadly, the problem is I find unless you can get it before around the 4th gym, you will have your full team by the time you run into it. I find myself going with teams of 3 and 4 early on until i run into something I want.

I really wanted to, but you couldn't get it until post game in BW and by the time I realized you could get it relatively early in 2 I already had a full team.

A lot of the gen 5 legends too. I don't use them because they make things too easy, but I really like some of them and I feel bad about treating them like trophies.

I want to use Cloyster in-game, but in every gen you get Shelder too fucking late in the game.

To think that the 1st time I used Jolteon was in my White2 run.

I use an emulator to get low level pokes I want to do a run through with. You should try that too.

Thank you, I actually did a playthrough of Silver for gbc and my houndour lagged behind sometimes because all my other pokes were stronger.
