im getting back into pokemon and i want to have six pokemon before i go to the elite 4 i currently have 4 level 58 pokemon

>unfezant
>Samurott
>and plan on getting a Zweilous on victory road

Are either a Heatmor or a Volcarona catchable before facing the elite 4?

Heatmor is in Victory Road, while Larvesta and Volcarona are obtainable in BW and BW2 respectively.

Volcarona is catchable, there's a little cave to the west of the PWT (the building, not the area). You have to go through a cave and you'll end up in the ruins.
Not sure about heatmor, but volca>heatmor

You can't go to Twist Mountain until you beat the E4, if I remember right.

It's part of the reason keeping BW2 from being my favorite game. It has lots of post-game content, but at the expense of blocking off a number of areas, which means there are also tons of pokemon you can't access till you beat the E4(Gen V included).

Yes, it's level 35, but you can get it as soon as you get the Quake Badge, which is still pretty early on in the game.
