A lot of /vp/ left after their guild leader fucked off, and the game got swarmed with redditors.
It's not a bad game, still, but you can purchase boosts, cosmetics and such.
I liked it when we had the /tr/ guild, they handed out starters all the time, anything within reason, they would give you for free.
I wish we could revive it, honestly.

Yeah, it's gone downhill, what with boosts to finding shinies, XP boosts, and items to stop you from getting experience but still get EVs.

He's the "donor status" upgrades.

Because it's a "donation" or some shit.
I really want it to get shut down, but they don't offer the rom on their site, so that might be why Nintendo can't run them down.
I want a pokemon MMO, but not one with a fucking cash shop and Fire Red as the base.
Maybe I should just get to work trying to make a platinum MMO, or HG/SS.

Why does everyone keep trying to use outdated platforms? I can understand not using XY, but there is no reason not to use BW2 as the base game.

Personal preference.
Not everyone would want to play a BW2 MMO, just as not everyone would want to play a Platinum or HG/SS one.
I suppose I could make a BW2 one, though. It probably wouldn't be that much harder that doing a 4th gen game.
