Never because it will kill hype if we can mess around with the beginning of the game for ourselves.
The first few scenes and the last few scenes are arguably the most important in the entire game from a business perspective.

They usually have 30 uses. And yes the demo had a time limit of 10 minutes.
That's 300 minutes.
That's 5 hours you could be using that demo for.
Play it twice per day and you'll still have enough plays left when the game comes out.

Too bad the EOIV demo had THREE fucking uses. I hope they don't have the same idea.
Although 3DS demos usually don't have time, this one had time because there were hundred of people waiting hours in order to play.
