I love a lot of designs in the Unova Pokedex, like Bisharp, Golurk, Freedombird, and Emolga, but holy shit it has the worst case of ctrl+v out of all of the Pokedexes. Yeah yeah, people will say in Gen I there was a good amount of ctrl+ v too. There was Doduo > Dodrio, Diglett > Dugtrio, Magnemite > Magneton. Sprouting another head or two, big whoop. They didn't look too bad though and all of them had unique sprites.
However, these goddamn 6, count em, SIX SIMILAR LOOKING APES, ALL THE SAME TYPE OF ANIMAL. Now, I'm not saying Gamefreak should never use the same type of animal twice. Look at Tentacruel and Jellicent. They're vastly different design-wise and unique from each other. However, having SIX FUCKING MONKEYS that look almost the same as each other is really lazy.
And the klinklang line. Biggest waste of potential ever. The sprite is so lazy, too. I imagine this is what they were thinking when they were designing it and its sprite.
