Your favorite generation?
For me hands down Gen2, great graphics, great pokemons, best regions and awesome story.

Played through Gen 1 and I prefer the designs there overall. But Gen 2 really was great backtracking all the way to Gen 1. Overall I'd have to give it to Gen 2 as my favorite design comes from there as well but overall designs are not as great as gen 1.

Idk what it was but Gen 3 made me hate Pokemon games. That was years ago but I cannot recall why. All I remember is it felt like a inconsistent clusterfuck with bad music and bad designs. Even the traveling was annoying. Idk how 5 can be worse from what I have seen on youtube.

Sure, let's just sprinkle maybe a dozen original evo lines, and then just give new evolutions to everything else. Gen IV had the shittiest Pokemon.

For me, gen 3 was the best generation overall (although HG is my favourite game). This is mainly because of the speed of game, everything just feels so fluid. Also there were the god-tier Gamecube games.

3 > 4 > 2 > 5 > 1

To me, replay value is very important in a Pokemon game and gen 5 doesn't really have that whereas gen 1 lacks some of those all important newer features (registered items, bigger bag, etc.).

Gen 4 improved the clusterfuck that is Gen 2. Evolutions were needed to make various Pokemon families not shit, such Pokemon like Yanma, Sneasel and Gligar.

The borderline-obsessive Hoenn love magically materializing over the course of about a year or two should have tip you off to their arrival, though it shouldn't be much longer until they start being displace by the larger Sinnoh fanbase.

There are hardly any people above the age of 29 on 4chan.

It's main userbase are people between 15 and 25 and that won't change any time soon.

I would go noticeably lower than that age for here, especially accounting for lurkers and infrequent posters.

14-21 here on /vp/, though I'd imagine the age skews to about your estimations on most other boards.
