Face it, Pokemon won't even be in 720p until Generation 8. The games really aren't going to change much.

I imagine we'll have DLC region expansion packs by then though. And Gen 10 should be on a portable with the power of a PS4, so look forward to lifelike textures and open world gameplay.

Fairy will be the last new type added until the nostalgiafags get old, get hired at Ganefreak, and add light/sound, a join-team-rocket option, and a generation dedicated to just giving 150 Pokemon new evolutions and pre-evolutions. Hopefully this doesn't happen for at least another 20 years.

I would personally like a much more integral role as the champion, more variant weather, large regions plus preferably one postgame region. Return of the VS Seeker is on there. Perhaps closer friendships with the NPCs, certain events to team up with or hang out with rivals/friends/whatever Game Freak considers them now. Romancing one would be awesome too. I hope they implement this in XY with Serena/Calem. It is France, after all.

It occurs to me that I've been playing these fucking games for so long that even though I will be busy with more serious things later in my life I will probably always set aside time to play Pokemon until I die or the franchise dies.

Flying on the back of your Pokemon kind of like a mini-game avoiding clouds, trees, mountains and you can hit other flying Pokemono and verse them mid-air.

Also that's how you should be able to find the legendary birds of flying+roaming Pokemon
