Now that I think about it, you're probably right. Searches through the RB text dump don't bring up anything for "bury" and related words.

Like it's been said, Japanese burial practices try to make due with the massive population and limited area. People get buried on rooftops, in massive underground systems viewable by webcam, in densely packed little fields, etc.

I should clarify, ashes are buried, not the body, usually. Or, in some cases, the urn is just left in a little cell. One of the practices is for a close family member to separate any bone fragments from the ashes.

Honestly, the Pokemon tower, with how cluttered it's grave's look is actually kinda align with how Japanese graveyards look.

Graves have to be kept close together to make space for everyone. For the record, look at all the graves there. Just think of all the Pokemon already dead. And think of all the Pokemon they're making space for, to prepare for all those deathes.
