I get that they created it and don't want to have it be for nothing, and introduce people to it. But I think they shouldn't have made it, period. The Movies were worse in my opinion, took much longer to go through that tutorial.

There are some people who think that every book is utter shit. Does that make that a valid opinion? No. It makes them immature and not giving a book a chance.
I'm sorry, but our opinions are just not equal in value. There are tons of reasons to argue for why Gen 5 was not 100% shit. But your opinion is your deluded opinion, and it's not even close to the truth.
