no, rocks have no innervation - essentially, people in the 1950s would actually harvest the tails of steelix and the cannons of male blastoise to create the long elaborate bridges to prevent muk and grimer from entering their water. My dad works for nintendo, he confirmed it 3 years ago.

Sounds like its meant to be the Body, not its "Armor" Thing.

That said, i think the same about Blastoise waterhoses. theire made of Steel, since Pokémon can be made of Steel, or Rock, or even grass.

thus, i don't think it feels pain

He's at work right now, he would totally flip if I ask him to do that right now. He's creating a legendary for the new x/y game, it's called Tunsnake and it's the third party representative for the game deemed "pokemon z". It looks brilliant, like a giant snake with scales and rocks. I will ask him later though for your request, I think he would appreciate confirming my information. :)

Blastoise hasn't been retyped to Water/Steel, so I'm assuming the cannons are made of the same thing as its shell.

That wouldn't really make much sense though.
He uses them to shoot water, he doesn't run up and smack others with them. Pokemon like Bisharp, Lucario, Magnemite etc actually use steel part of their body to attack.

I assume Blastoise pumps are made out of keratin, like rhino horns, or whatever turtle shells are made out of. Organic, but tough.
