am i the only one who thinks that gengar , blaziken and other confirmed third evolution pokemons doesnt need a mega evolution. I mean theyre already too strong for those. They shouldve just gave those for bidoof or luvdisc,

I actually have the opposite opinion; only Pokémon too big/strong to evolve normally should get Mega Evolutions, smaller and weaker Pokémon such as Mawile would be better off with just a normal evolution.

Think about it. The most used pokemon are getting mega evolutions. If you it's true you can only have one mega pokemon on your team do you think you're gonna have more than one if you can't utilize it's full power. IMO teams are going to be built around the mega pokemon. So teams aren't going to be just your favorite pokemon, it's going to add a little more strategy to designing your teams and you're going to have to decide on who that valuable mega pokemon slot will go to.
