I think mega evos are good and hope that hundreds of pokemon get them

I also hope some unevolved mons get them, and more legendaries

I agree with you on the first one, but not on the second. Wouldn't be surprised if they did it for Pikachu, though. I'm just holding out for a Crobat Mega Evolution.

I think that GF will only offer a few Megas right now and then reveal more years from now so they dont have to keep up making new Pokemon or possibly bait in people depending on the fanbase of future Pokemon.

My take on Mega Evolutions is that either:
1. They only happen to evolutionary lines that don't need an evolution (2nd evolution, or already strong Pokemon)
or
2. They don't exist at all and ones that need an evolution will just get a regular evolution

I'm just afraid they'll start just making Mega Evolutions instead of giving Pokemon regular evolutions. Then that will open up a whole new can of worms if no older Pokemon get evolutions.

But I do kind of like some though, like Kanghskan and Ampharos getting one. In the end, Mega Evolutions just seem so unnecessary to me. Or maybe I'm afraid of change, or just too much change to the series. I just don't want the meta game to become a 'get the most over-powed Pokemon out there before the opponent does' series like Yugioh became. It just takes all the strategy and fun away.

Well it might be ok if done right. Sort of a second wind thing where all your other pokemon are knocked out and it is the only way to win.
