People are forgetting the GTS exploit. Save editing isn't required for hacked mons.

i think the only thing they have to do is figure out how to edit the .pkm files, work out PIDs for legality and such, and crack the GTS

or hopefully gen VI will be more transparent about IVs/EVs and it won't be so fucking irritating to breed good mons

There's nothing to fix, it simply reverse engineers the way their GTS server functions. People have already done this with the Streetpass Relay system they recently set up.

I have no doubt it will resurface weeks into the launch, just as it did in the transition from gen 4 to 5.

Gateway 3DS though.

It was patched by Ninty I think, and will continue to be patched.

So if you want to hack, you need to never connect to the internet :^)
(asuming that R4 is even public?)

Dude, EV training takes like, 15 minutes tops with Pokerus, vitamins, and the power items. Unless you are autistic, it's not very hard. IV breeding I can understand, but EV training is not very hard at all.

We know nothing of how IVs work this time around

They could have overhauled it, they could have left it the same, they could have made it easier to figure out

This is GF we are talking about. So no. I'm surprised there are still quite a few people that think IVs are good because pokemon "individuality."

EV training was always easy as fuck. Casualizing them means nothing. IVs are the issue.

The best you can hope for is some item that increases the possibility of of encounterng wild pokemon with better IV's.

anyway when you are breeding the most you ever need is 4 perfect IV's really.
