the route theme is very nice and I like the skiddo riding theme as well. professor's is okay but people will jerk off to it because it's so french sounding oh my god it's so classy <3333

I meant the theme that plays when you talk to the professor.

I remember reading an old interview where during the development of G/S Masuda advised the new composers to write music that matched the setting, but to make sure it wasn't "too Japanese". I can understand and appreciate this choice, because having the game be set in old Japan with a bunch of YOOOOO *gong* shit would be the obvious, predictable course. So the professor's theme being French-sounding is just a little predictable for me. So it's nice. Just not amazing.

The wild theme sounds uninteresting. But, better than BW's, so I guess it's a step in the right direction.

Rival theme is terribly lacking. Easily one of the weakest we've ever had.

Trainer theme is rather good though.

6 Pokémon per team, plenty of dual types to choose from to cover ground with, plus some Pokémon have broad moovepools with lots to choose from. Don't see an issue with two of the same type.

Route music is adorable, fantastic
Wild battle music is a bit too similar to the BW music. That's one of my favorites, but I still expected something different.
Riding music was pretty cute.
Rival battle sounds better than I first thought, but it's still a bit bland. Better than DP and BW though.
Sycamore's theme was classy as fuck, also great to hear the different instruments.
Trainer battle didn't really get me when I first heard it, but I love it now.
