>>13530475It's the same for me. I only recently(a month ago) got HeartGold and was immediately charmed, but Platinum had deterred me enough to skip a whole generation.
I just never felt at home in its world as I did in nostalgic Kanto, charming Johto, or cosy Hoenn. The graphics (or should I say style, in particular the architecture) seemed eclectic, many of the new Pokémon had horrible designs, and they even gave a few old favourites of mine absolutely hiderous new evolutions (Lickilicky, Tangrowth, Magmotar, Magnezone, etc.).
