I don't do competitive battling, but during several different play-throughs, I've had trouble with Magneton.

Murkrow in LC. I run a core of Foongus, Eviolite, Mienfoo, and Slowpoke core to spread status and knock off items.

Slowpoke can take brave birds all day though and try to get a thunderwave in ti fuck him over. Also use magnemite just to kill that faggot bird.
