Hey guys... With all these people quite easily running into shinies in just the demo alone could it be possible that they significantly upped the rate at which you encounter a shiny pokemon? I mean what are the odds (with the current chances of finding a shiny) that we would see all of these shinies within only a couple days of the demos being out?

What, you thought that the shines in X/Y wouldn't look any different whatsoever, despite things like Red Gyarados being icons of the feature? Seriously, re-colouring a model takes practically no effort or space. How could you ever think that would happen?

I don't know, I just had low expectations.
It's also insane that with all those different Pokemon models, the game is only 1.7GB.
3DS cards can store up to 4GB.
That's still loads of room for later games.

Doesn't really need it, even if you consider each model to be 2Mo (very large supposition, they are probably less than that considering the resolution), you end up with like 1.8Go of data. The actual code of pokemon is unlikely to be over 50 Mo of executable. So you have ton of space for the data on that disk
