This really doesn't seem so bad. I was getting tired of pokemon being the same predictable shit everytime.

This way, theres random events that could make or break a battle, it adds more spice to battles, and makes it fair/unfair between battles. It's like a hazzard in a Smash bros stage.

Unless you're one of those faggots who goes all "FINAL DESTINATION FOX ONRY" and saps the fun out of everything, This is ingenious and a way to change the game for the kids getting into the series, not the adults who cling to it like some kind of sport.

The only part of this concept that bothers me is that on future playthroughs it could make nuzlocking very difficult.

Not a big enough issue to prevent a purchase, but kind of a downer since my policy is to play a Pokemon game normally first, transfer my mons to the next game, then start a new nuzlocke file on that game.

Luck MANAGEMENT is a part of skill. However, there's a subjective limit to too much luck, and after that the game becomes a shitfest.

You say this is perfectly fine, I say it's bullshit. The same way most but not ALL of Smogon believes Double Team is too much, yet karenfags believe it's part of the game.
