For me, most of my friends no longer play videogames. None play Nintendo at all. Im sure the price wont drop either unless a year goes bye and someone trades it in. I remember the fun and excitement of camping outside of stores or arriving the day of for GTA 4 or my GBA, but I really cant see any reason to get Pokemon X/Y the day of.
If anything, Im pretty sure Ill just get off work and probably waltz into the ToyRUs near my bus stop if I have time to kill before my ride arrives, and buy it without much of a smile on my face since I just did it on a whim.
Pretty much what I did with B/W and B/W2.
I miss the feeling of anticipation...
