I'll occasionally get up early to watch an episode if I think it's cool. I used to get up and watch it with Ben 10 Omniverse but since that's in reruns until who knows when I won't be watching any time soon. Actually that's a lie because I think the Rotom ep is next. I used to be pretty adamant about watching it when BW version started but I haven't watched recently. I wish we'd have a live thread for the eps but it doesn't seem like many people are up/watch it.
I don't watch it online though.

Most of the original nostalgia fag moments- Pikachu not wanting to evolve, Charizard training, Pokemon leaving etc. Least favorites are when TR seems super close to accomplishing something only for the writers to go "lol look deus ex machina" and they lose.

None of them. They're all pretty insufferable as characters. Misty was annoying as fuck, May (or maybe it was Dawn) cried like a bitch when they lost. Iris I think is the most tolerable one of all, but that's not saying much. At least, as long as they got rid of that such a kid bullshit. If not, I dunno..I guess May.

I'm not expecting much out of a children's show character but eh. It's good to have good values for kids. To be honest, it seems like the kids that I know who watch Pokemon and still like it are generally nicer people.

Original was the best. BW looks nicest. The other ones were too mismatched to me.

Gary. Paul seems to just be a little shit. We at least know Gary grew a bit.

For XY: Ash being more smart about his moves and Pokemon and not just a full reset for everything. Especially Pikachu.
Origins I don't really know what to expect. Hopefully it'll be good.

When I was 9 in 1999. My mom got the Clefairy/Brock battle eps on VHS. Never had cable/satellite but I already knew of the series because everyone had cards and I had no idea what they were talking about.

Not really. Couldn't watch as much of AG as I wanted to because we didn't get WB for some reason, but when I finally got to see the show again, I couldn't stomach the raped dub. I sometimes read the summaries of the episodes.

Hardly. B&W triggered some interest in me but didn't deliver in the end. The writing is just so bland. Knowing that it's about to end soon is kind of... weird.

I didn't see EVERY episode in all of the seasons, so yeah. I think it's either the Charizard/Magmar battle or the Pikachu/Raichu one (in the first season, that is, might've been more battles afterwards?). Every time Team Rocket had a moment beyond just resorting to the "Catch Pikachu" plan. Meowth's daydreaming Giovanni/Bug Pokemon orgy. Brock finding his true soul mate in every single episode + Croagunk becoming Misty. It was a bit depressing due to having a actual Togetic in my team back then and he was a total bro, but the one episode where Misty and Togetic say good bye. Least favorite? Can't think of one. I really hated how B&W would try to copy, paste and edit 1st season episodes into new ones, come on

It's a tie between Dawn and Iris. I do miss Misty though.

Terribly written. (In Sinnoh of what I remember, he was actually alright if I can say so myself). If I could pick three words to describe him, it would be "inconsistent", "stubborn" and "dull".

Might be nostalgia talking but the first one. There's just no outfit beating the first one with his trademark first cap.

There might be some spark like there was for B&W, but I'm afraid of it just becoming the same thing. Origins is closer to the original games and I'm kind of fucking excited, the animation looks really promising so far. And I was getting tired of all the bishounen Red fan-art, so seeing how Red would actually look in the anime is just hilarious to me from a perspective point concerning all the fans who would be fawning over him. He looks alright, as well as Blue/Green.

He had potential, and I thought developed pretty well until the end of Diamond and Pearl. The he kinda flopped and was reduced to a ten year old, which I didn't appreciate. I have always liked his loyalty though.

I really really want X and Y to be good, and I will watch the first few episodes, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up since the anime starring Ash has been in a serious nose dive in recent years.
