Through since some features weren't included ingame / were locked, there is still a possibility that the demo doesn't have any fairy type interaction besides being super effective agains't dragons.

Seems fishy that fire resists fairy just like the leak said, but not psychic.
Perhaps the source made a mistake/ assumption? Perhaps the only Pokemon he encountered that resisted fairy were psychic/ the actual type that resisted fairy?
Or perhaps, most logically, it was an older version and has been modified. We've seen fairy resisted by fire, SE against dragon, and hinted that it will be weak to poison, just like the leak said.

It's most likely that he made a small mistake there, yes, because of all things to lie about a) this is the stupidest b) he seems mostly right on it anyways. I believe he was tasked with testing how Fairy types and just made assumptions from his tests. Would also explain Fairy's supposed Ice weakness.

It has been proven correct, even when people doubted it.

Fighting works.

Ninjas are fighters. Dark is one hell of a stretch. Froakie is noted for his athletic ability.

My take on this: The leak is correct. The demo is an early build (as they all are), and fairy type's info will be revealed in the next Coro Coro.

The starter typings have nothing to do with fairy typing's properties, so I don't know why people are going with this angle. Confusing a typing relationship is not the same as mistaking a starter typing.

No, because the idea makes sense. All that was proven wrong was the match-up against Psychic.

And correct me if I'm wrong but both Hydreigon and Haxorus have been shown taking Fairy type moves and Hydreigon was the one to get OHKO'd despite having higher Special Attack.

The game is lauched in early october.
There's no way the game haven't been 100% finished in mid August. Fuck, it was definitely finished at 100% by july, then it was test/debug.

Yes, but Dark type Pokemon aren't outright evil. They're primarily tricksters, conniving, etc. Just take a glance through the Dex.

Those moves are a really good fit for a ninja.

At the demos it's Froakie > Fennekin > Chespin.

I think the consensus is that Froakie will be a more Speed orientated Blazien, Fennekin will be a bit more balanced with Special Attack focus and Chespin will be the defensive option (again). Of course this is all speculation just based on the very first stage so take with a huge grain of salt.

There were more than 14 trademarks. The Pokemon revealed in CoroCoro - Swirlix, Spritzee, and maybe the others - were also trademarked. These trademarks were filed and found before the Swirlix/Spritzee leak.
