Smugleaf looked pretty good for a starter. It gained a lot of "personality" by not having a generic cute expression. Its evolutions disappointed me though, but so did the others

All the starters are dull, but I thought that about BW too. I just didn't use them. I honestly hope it's not like the BW format, where half the content is locked out until after the pokemon league and the legendaries are just tacked on.

Can't wait to use Fennekin and not have a Fire/Fighting starter evo for the first time in quite a few years. Also think Froakie is legitimately cute. First time I've ever liked more than one starter initially.

Also can't wait to get a new system. Haven't gotten a new gaming system since my PS3 in 2009. If you don't count DSLite to DSi to be a new system, that is/
