Water in particular. Surf Rock, Trip Hop, Ambient, and Seapunk aren't similar at all.

If you didn't realize why psych rock and prog were in Dragon, or that krautrock doesn't belong in standard Rock, god help you.

The original chart is much better.

The only good addition is ???, which should be Bird-type, which explains while owls isn't on there.

That's why I said "at least semi-understandable." Post-rock and shoegaze and drone are also broad terms that cover a lot of music, unlike vaporwave or seapunk which are basically micro-scenes that are already over.

Also: you people are missing the whole point by putting surf rock in Water or electro in Electric because LOL OBVIOUSLY PUNS. The previous chart made a lot more sense.

Since this chart was made on /mu/, and thus with music in mind, it follows that people on /vp/ would alter it to better fit the types.

The original chart evidently was not trying to completely capture each types theme.

It was also fitting each Pokemon's image much better. All the classical on Dragon shows that /vp/ didn't understand that.

People believed in water and fire and fairies and ghosts back in the medieval period too, why isn't it in those types?
